This coming Sunday
What do they both have in common? Well, they’re mostly broke and trying to make it.
I’m going to stress the importance of routine no matter how creative and clever you really are. Because without a basic routine, you’re wondering around in circles.
I’ve managed to outline a schedule that lets me focus on the must-do-important-things-of-the-day so that I have structure. Personally, I definitely have a mild case of ADD which makes my mind wonder far too much, now mix that with no routine, goals, and structure and you have a giant ball of oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorous (the composition of a human being).
But, and this is a big BUT, letting your mind wonder during your routine and being distracted is a good thing, its where creativity sometimes pops its head. “OH HELLO SEAN!” Boom! All of a sudden inspiration!
So, don’t be afraid to let your mind wonder sometimes, just make sure you’re getting done what you set out to do for the day. Routine and distraction become a valuable asset.
Stay disciplined and air-head-like!
PS. I’m sure I wondered off at least once while writing this.
If there’s a road that leads to perfect, the road that travels in the opposite direction leads to launching. Nothing will ever be perfect—not your product, service, messaging, etc. But the only real way to test it is by getting your work in front of people. Flaws can be adjusted, but the only way to find them is to get your work out there.
Start early. Start young. Start now.
Leave the past where it is, its as concrete as stone. Rather pave the way for a a better future by making the BIG decisions in the present. Where do you want to see yourself in a year? In ten? Don’t be modest, dream BIG. Its achievable. It CAN happen!
Consistency. Habit. Reason.
Consistency, doing it over and over again.
Habit, letting success become you.
Reason, reminding yourself why you want it.
So, if you haven’t already…. Start right now! You’re the only person getting in the way of your success and your dreams.
